NB:This Tutorial will be applicable to the strong decoder, but it may be applicable to other digi-boxes too.
On the 20th of October Multi-TV Ghana expanded their services to outside West Africa,allowing viewers the potential to connect to other free channels across Africa.
If your Multi-tv decoder is displaying "no audio/video" signal,against a black background.Follow the instructions below.
YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER DELETING ALL YOUR PREVIOUS CHANNELS BEFORE DOING THIS,SINCE THEY WILL BECOME REDUNDANT.
TO DELETE ALL PAST CHANNELS, DO THE FOLLOWING:
1.Press the menu button.
2.Scroll down to Channels.
3.Type in password "0000"
4.Scroll down to "Delete channels"
5.Press the Info button(symbols looks like an "i")
6.Type in the password "0000"
7.Choose Yes to confirm deletion.
This should effectively delete all your channels before you start scanning for new ones
SCANNING FOR NEW CHANNELS
STEP 1.Press the Menu button on your decoder.
STEP 2.Press okay on the 'installation', and type in "0000" as your password.
STEP 3.Scroll Down to manual installation and press ok.
STEP 4A. On the satellite panel, Press the "red" button on your remote controller and select the satellite "ASTRA 3A/2B" or "28.2E ASTRA 1N/2A/2B". Press ok.
STEP 4B. Scroll Down to Frequency and press the "green" button.Type in 12522. It should appear as "12.522 GHz".
STEP 4C. Scroll Down with the remote cursor,without pressing ok,to the Symbol rate.Just start typing 27000. It should appear as "27.000 MS/s".
STEP 4D. Scroll Down to Polarization,still without pressing okay.Use the left and mouse cursor to make Sure it is as V(Vertical) and Not H(Horizontal).
If you have followed the steps well,the two signal bars(measuring quality and signal strength) on the top right corner of the screen should be showing green.
STEP 5: Press "OK" now to scan your channels.After scanning is complete.Exit and go back to enjoying your new channels.
PS: I WILL UPDATE THIS TO REFLECT ANY NEW CHANGES

Please my multitv is not showing since on Saturday i think my now you guys have finish the upgrade? what will i do to scam my digi box ? Am using Quality digibox or decoder. please get back to me as soon as possible for asistance.
